Below: The two RV Gypsies saw several moose while driving to Chena Hot Springs, but were unable to capture very good photos from the moving RV. But any photo of wildlife is better than none, especially since they already have many dozens of great photos of all types of wildlife. |

Below: Entering Chena Hot Springs Resort. General Information: The Hot Springs waters are only open to individuals ages 18 and over, daily 7 a.m. to midnight. There is a massage area which must be reserved in advance. The hotel desk and gift shop are open 24 hours. Hotel check-in was 4 p.m. All rooms are non-smoking. RV sites are also available May 16 - September 16 only. The restaurant and lounge bar are open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (all times may be subject to change as time passes). The New England Clam Chowder was the best clam chowder Karen ever tasted. There is a lot to do at Chena Hot Springs including the Aurora Ice Museum. The two RV Gypsies explored the Ice Museum in 2009 so did not do it again this time. This website is not connected to Chena Hot Springs in any manner, so please do not try to book reservations through this website. Do not hold this website responsible for information that may change as time passes. |
